Type: Private university (formerly AISECT University), established in 2010 by AISECT in Raisen district, Madhya Pradesh.

Admission Process & Eligibility

RNTU admits students based on merit and/or the AJEE (AISECT Joint Entrance Exam), a university-level test. It also accepts JEE Main, CUET-UG, UGC-NET, GATE, CAT/MAT, etc., for relevant programs

PG programs usually require graduation with ≥ 50% (relaxation for reserved categories).

Admission via merit, AJEE, or national exam (GATE for M.Tech, MAT/MCA for MBA/MCA) 

Research Programs (Ph.D. & M.Phil.)

Requirements: Master’s degree (relevant discipline), typically ≥ 55%;

Admission via RNTU Ph.D. Entrance Exam or national exams (UGC-NET, GATE), followed by interview .

What RNTU Checks (Eligibility & Selection)

Educational Qualifications:

UG: 45–50% in 10+2 (PCM for tech, PCB for paramedical, any stream for business).

PG: ≥ 50% in relevant UG degree.

Ph.D.: ≥ 55% in relevant PG degree.

Entrance & Merit:

AJEE is primary for most programs.

National/state entry exams (JEE, CUET, GATE, UGC-NET, MAT/MCA) accepted depending on course 

Reservation & Relaxation:

Applicable as per government norms (e.g., 40% threshold for reserved categories).
